Bridgend Allotments and Health Project Organic Seed Potato Day

Following the successful event last year, there will be another organic potato day at Inch House Community Centre in Inch Park on Sunday 24th February between 11am and 2 pm.

  • Many varieties of organic seed potatoes will be on sale: a great chance for all keen gardeners to stock up for the new season. The full list is below.
  • Specialist suppliers
    • Carroll’s Heritage Potatoes will be selling some wonderful old and rare varieties and offering great advice. It's worth coming just to get some of these to try. The varieties they will be selling aren't listed below but you can visit their website to get an idea of what will be on offer.
    • Alan Romans’ seeds and famous potato book will also be on sale.
  • John Marshall, of WCF Phoenix Seed Potato Growers will give a talk about growing potatoes in exotic places….
  • Entry is free and light refreshments will be available. Tubers will cost 13 pence each
